Project Engineer

BSP Pharmaceuticals S.p. A is focused on the development and manufacturing of anticancer drugs with high potency and cytotoxic characteristics for the Pharmaceuticals Industry. We are one of the most important Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs) for anticancer drugs. The fight against cancer is ours too. We are currently looking for a Project Engineer Main activities: Ensure, through the guidance provided by his/her supervisor, the management of engineering projects related to installation and optimization of equipment/plants and adjustments of capabilities of GMP and non-GMP areas and the management of activities related to capacity expansion projects resulting from the construction of new manufacturing areas; Carry out, also using external consultants, basic and detailed design in full compliance with project objectives in terms of time, cost and quality requirements; In collaboration with the purchasing function, formulate requests for proposals to suppliers to evaluate project costs and enable budgeting; prepare technical/economic analysis of bids received and support the definition phase of commercial negotiations; Prepare adequate reporting related to the progress of projects in terms of time and cost; Carry out the delivery of engineering designs after conducting the necessary acceptance tests aimed at verifying compliance with the design specifications of all plant components; supervise the plant start-up phase and support qualification activities.
