Senior Fashion Designer

Company Description We are Vamani Overseas, an Indian garment company specializing in high-quality production for third-party brands. We’re currently seeking a senior fashion designer to join our talented team at our studio, located in the heart of Barcelona. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Fashion Designer, located in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area. We are a young and dynamic team - currently 20 designers working from our offices located in c/ Balmes - working on a friendly and flexible enviroment. The Senior Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating and developing new fashion designs, overseeing the fitting and tailoring of garments, selecting and working with textiles, and incorporating embroidery into designs. Day-to-day tasks will include sketching designs, selecting fabrics and materials, evaluating fashion trends, coordinating with merchandising and production teams in India, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards. You will be also the main point of contact with our client, an European retailer. Work trips to client HQs to be expected every 2 months, therefore it's important you have availability to travel. Qualifications Specialized in soft woven, ideally experience working on indian product 5 years experience on similar roles Great taste level Experience with Embroideries and prints Great level of english, both written and spoken Comercial creative eye Adobe savy Strong attention to detail and creativity Highly organized, can work independently Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work on-site in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred Please send your portfolio cv along.
