Akkodis is seeking a Solution manager - EDW SOX for a contract position with a client in Toronto, ON (Hybrid). Ideally looking for experience with would be someone who has implemented SOX compliance and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) the required skills and experience, particularly in large organizations. Title: IT Solution manager - EDW SOX(Enterprise Data Warehouse) Location: On-site in Toronto (3 days/week). 150 Adelaide Street East) JD: For this role, let’s start by looking for someone who has implemented SOX compliance (data governance and security practices) in an EDW environment – it is a long term contract with market rate (most competitive please) - thx SOX compliance is crucial for an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) because it ensures the integrity, accuracy, and security of financial data. Here are some key reasons: 1. Financial Data Security : SOX mandates stringent controls to protect financial data from unauthorized access, tampering, and breaches 2. Internal Controls : EDWs must have robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting 3. Auditability : SOX requires that all financial data be easily auditable, meaning EDWs must maintain detailed logs and records Solution manager - EDW SOX: • Work with multiple stakeholders, including business teams to coordinate tasks and ensure alignment. • Assist business stakeholders in refining intake tickets, ensuring completeness and clarity. • Identify project risks, escalate them appropriately, and drive mitigation plans. • Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Work alongside development teams to troubleshoot issues and support implementation. • Ensure smooth communication between customer teams and internal teams to align priorities and timelines. • Monitor and track project milestones, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of blockers
