PLANT PURCHASING MANAGER

We are currently seeking a Plant Purchasing Manager for our esteemed Client, a multinational company and Tier1 leader in the automotive sector. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational procurement activities for the Plant. They will be tasked with implementing effective procurement strategies, leading the procurement operations, and driving optimization and efficiency within the procurement function. Responsibilities Key responsibilities of the role include: Managing the identification and evaluation of potential suppliers, as well as maintaining relationships with existing key suppliers to ensure an optimal supplier network. Overseeing the procurement processes and procedures to ensure the acquisition of materials from the right suppliers, at the right price, and meeting quality and delivery requirements to support installation and service activities. Leading the commercial negotiation and re-negotiation of various contracts in alignment with best practices and corporate directives. Establishing and monitoring controls to ensure compliance with processes and procedures. Developing dashboards, metrics, and measures to identify areas for ongoing improvement. Creating and managing a sourcing pipeline to deliver targeted savings. Continuously seeking and implementing efficiency improvements in line with the strategic direction of the company. Participating in the development, improvement, and standardization of material purchase processes, while also providing support in project planning and control. Your Profile Requirements Master's degree in Engineering. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and materials management. Strong negotiation skills. Working knowledge of procure-to-pay applications and processes. High level of customer orientation. Experience in leading teams. Location: Province of Cuneo, near Carmagnola.
