SAP TM Consultant - S/4HANA Greenfield Implementations

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced SAP TM Consultant with strong expertise in S/4HANA Greenfield Implementations. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of Logistics Execution and Transportation Management processes including both Logistics Service Provider (LSP) and Shipper scenarios. Key Responsibilities : 1. Lead the implementation, configuration, and deployment of SAP Transportation Management (TM) in S/4HANA Greenfield environments 2. Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders and translate them into functional specs and system design 3. Design and configure Master Data including : - Location Master - Lane Master - Resource Master - Means of Transport Master - Driver Master - Transportation Group Master - Business Partner Master - Implement and support complex Logistics Service Provider (LSP) scenarios : - Forwarding Orders - Freight Units - Transportation Planning - Freight Orders - Forwarding Settlement - Freight Settlement 4. Implement and support Shipper Scenarios : - Order-based Transportation Requirements (OTR) - Delivery Proposals - Delivery Transportation Requirements (DTR) - Freight Unit Building - Transportation Planning - Freight Orders - Internal Settlement 5. Ensure end-to-end ownership of TM process areas from design to deployment 6. Prepare solution documentation, test plans, training materials, and conduct end-user training 7. Work closely with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, MM, EWM) to ensure seamless integration 8. Support data migration activities related to TM master data 9. Provide post-go-live support and drive continuous process improvements Must-Have Skills : - 8-10 years of SAP experience with at least 4 years in SAP Transportation Management (TM) - Strong experience in S/4HANA Greenfield implementations - Hands-on experience in Master Data configuration and process setup - In-depth functional knowledge of LSP and Shipper scenarios - Experience in end-to-end TM processes including planning, execution, and settlement - Exposure to internal and external settlement processes - Ability to write functional specifications for RICEFW objects and collaborate with ABAP/technical teams - Expertise in Order Management, Freight Units, Freight Orders, and Settlements - Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience Good-to-Have Skills : - Knowledge of SAP Event Management (EM) - Familiarity with SAP EWM integration - Understanding of SAP BRF for TM rules - Certification in SAP TM or S/4HANA Logistics Educational Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field - SAP Certifications preferred (SAP TM, S/4HANA Logistics) (ref:hirist.tech)
