Housekeeping Manager – Cape Town, Western Cape

Hire Resolves client in the Supply Chain industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an Housekeeping Manager in Cape Town, Western Cape. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department. Manage and train housekeeping staff. Ensure that all areas of the property are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures. Order and maintain cleaning supplies. Manage the housekeeping budget. Handle guest requests and complaints. Inspect rooms and other areas to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for staff. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Requirements: Proven experience in a housekeeping or related role. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness. Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment. Ability to manage a budget. Ability to handle guest requests and complaints. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
