Job Description

Requirements: South African citizen. Code B drivers license and own transport. Willing to work overtime and be available after business hours as well as during weekends if and when required. Qualifications & Experience: Senior Certificate (NQF 4). Relevant work-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience is required. Qualification in sales, logistics, administration or business will be an advantage. Key Performance Areas: Facilitate/ coordinate road transport operations for the effective distribution of goods. Develop/maintain relations with external service providers. Communicate with service providers and clients to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction. Assist with preparing/ distribution of quotations. Daily planning and liaison with loading/ off-loading contact points. Capabilities & Competencies: Good communication with internal & external clients. Excellent English & Afrikaans Excellent organising & prioritising skills. Ability to work in a systematic, methodical & orderly way in order to consistently achieve goals. Computer literate (MS Office). Ability to work accurately/ give attention to detail. Takes responsibility for actions and projects. Ability to establish good relationships with clients & colleagues. Ability to work productively whilst under pressure. Accepts & tackles demanding goals with enthusiasm, works hard and puts in longer hours when necessary. Ability to plan activities and projects in advance and take account of possible changing circumstances; being resilient. Ability to manage time effectively.
