Job Description: Our client is looking for a Credit Controller to manage and collect outstanding debts from company debtors. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in credit control, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively. This role is vital in ensuring clients adhere to their agreed credit terms while maintaining professional and positive relationships. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership and manage an allocated client ledger, ensuring timely payments according to agreed credit terms. Resolve invoice queries by liaising with clients and internal teams. Manage portal clients and process invoices as required on their systems. Reconcile complex accounts efficiently, particularly for self-billing clients. Negotiate payment plans and handle difficult clients professionally. Allocate payments accurately on the bank system. Complete new vendor forms as required. Escalate overdue accounts to legal and management when necessary. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a B2B credit control environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to handle problematic clients and resolve disputes professionally. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience with Xero accounting software is advantageous but not essential (training provided).
