Job Description
Are you a talented lawyer looking to accelerate your career with a national practice? We have an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with 2-3 years PAE to join a dynamic and collaborative team in Melbourne, specialising in business recovery and disputes. In this role, you will assist senior team members with a variety of tasks including loan and security reviews, advising on enforcement and regulatory issues, preparing default notices, demands, and pleadings. You will also take carriage of defended and undefended claims, conduct legal research, and attend court. About the Partner's Practice You will work closely with an experienced partner specialising in financial services, insolvency, and reconstruction. This partner has a senior leadership role in managing business claims for major banks and financial institutions. With over 17 years of experience, the partner’s practice covers complex disputes, corporate and personal insolvency, banking litigation, and advisory work. You will have the chance to develop your skills in areas such as receivership, voluntary administration, liquidation, fraud, forgeries, and complex enforcement issues.
