EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER for a well-established 5-star establishment, position based in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. JOB DESCRIPTION Grade 12. Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Additional certifications or advanced training in hospitality management is an added advantage. Person must be English speaking (person must be able to read, write and speak English fluently). Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Strong computer skills (MS Office / Email). Advanced knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS). 5yrs previous experience in hotel operations, with at least 3 years in a management position, preferably in a luxury or boutique hotel. Demonstrated experience managing multiple departments within rooms division (front office, housekeeping, and concierge). Proven track record of successfully improving guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a team to consistently meet performance standards. Ability to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and maintain high standards across all areas of rooms division. Highly committed to understanding and meeting the needs of guests, ensuring a luxurious and memorable experience. Summary of skills include leadership and team management, guest service and satisfaction, stock control and management, financial management and budgeting, training and development of housekeeping staff, collaboration with management, health and safety compliance.
