ETL Developer - Azure Data Factory

Job Title : Azure ETL Developer No. of Positions : 1 Experience Required : 5 to 9 years Location: Bengaluru : Hybrid / Remote Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Employment Type : Contractual Job Description : We are seeking an Azure ETL Developer with expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ETL workflows, ensuring data integrity, and working on cloud-based data processing solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, implement, and maintain ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF). - Design data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, or Synapse Analytics. - Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. - Work with Azure services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions. - Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to gather requirements and design data integration solutions. - Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation rules to maintain high-quality data. - Troubleshoot and debug ETL jobs to ensure smooth data processing and minimal downtime. - Utilize CI/CD pipelines for deployment and automation of ETL workflows. - Ensure data security and compliance with organizational standards. Required Skills : - Azure Data Factory (ADF) : Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and scheduling pipelines. - ETL Development : Strong understanding of data ingestion, transformation, and integration techniques. - Azure SQL Database / Synapse Analytics : Experience with writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. - Azure Data Lake : Understanding of storage, file formats (Parquet, Avro, JSON, CSV), and best practices. - Data Transformation & Processing : Experience with Data Flows, Mapping Data Flows, and Data Bricks (optional). - Scripting Languages : Python / PowerShell for automation. - Version Control & CI/CD : Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and deployment automation. - Data Governance & Security : Knowledge of RBAC, encryption, and compliance policies. Nice to Have : - Experience with Databricks / Spark for large-scale data processing. - Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions for data automation. - Knowledge of Data Modeling & Data Warehousing concepts.
