Travel Nurse Across America Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Bakersfield, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Active CA license on submission. 3 years of exp. is required. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Floating- Floating could happen between the 2 facilities to the ER. If floated prior to shift, would get a 2 hour notice prior start. Mid-shift floating could happen. The facilities are only 6.5 miles apart. CERNER REQUIRED - Common diagnosis / Types of patient’s- Typical ER patients. Some days they have MedSurg Tele holds in the ER. ER Nurses will be expected to take these patients. - Additional Notes- They are a Primary Stroke Center. They rarely hold "5150 psych holds" longer than 12 hours. They utilize the MET Team (Mobile Eval Team). Could see 115 patients one day than 175 patients the next day. This must be their primary job.
