TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Rochester, New York, 14621 Pay Information $2,240 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Step Down/Pulmonary Unit Duration: 13-week contract (or less) Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Must have experience in Medical Step Down/Pulmonary License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: AHA - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with invasive monitoring and ventilator support Description: You will be expected to work every other weekend. You need to have certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Local candidates within 75 miles are not eligible to apply. This role involves working in a Medical Step Down/Pulmonary Unit. Responsibilities include invasive monitoring, New/Rescue/Continuous NIPPV, managing new tracheostomies, and using ventilators with ETT. Experience with transvenous pacing is required. Floating to other units may be necessary if needed. You should be prepared to work every other holiday. Facility may call off up to three shifts in a 13-week contract and two shifts in contracts less than 13 weeks.
