Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst Location: Motherwell, Central Belt of Scotland Salary/Benefits: £25k - £40k Training & Benefits We are seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover contracts in the Central Belt of Scotland, servicing a range of commercial, local authority and public sector client sites. You will be joining an independent outfit, with a strong reputation within the industry. The role will require the applicant to discuss technical matters directly with clients, as such, you must have strong communication skills and a professional manner. You will be travelling across: Motherwell, Bellshill, Larkhall, Shotts, Glasgow, Forth, Lanark, Stonehouse, Kilmarnock, Griffnock, Cambuslang, East Kilbride, Johnstone, Paisley, Dumbarton, Renfrew, Croydon, Cumbernauld, Lenzie, Airdrie, Bathgare, West Calder, Livingston, Falkirk, Stirling, Dunfermline, Rosyth, Edinburgh, Bonnyrigg. Experience / Qualifications: - Must have experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor and Analyst, ideally for a UKAS accredited outfit - Qualified with the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 qualifications - Excellent written and IT proficiency - Good knowledge of UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines - Strong communication skills - Good client-facing manner The Role: - You will be undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys in line with industry guidelines - Completing 4 Stage Clearances - Personal, background, leak and reassurance air monitoring - Writing comprehensive analytical and survey reports - Safely sampling ACMs to send to the laboratory - Completing re-inspections - Maintaining strong working relationships with clients - Travelling as per company requirements Alternative job titles: Asbestos Surveyor, Asbestos Analyst, Asbestos Site Analyst, Environmental Consultant, Asbestos Consultant.
