Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Location: Luton, Bedfordshire Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k Training & Benefits Our client is a privately-owned Asbestos company, who offer the full range of services to their portfolio of clients. To continue their growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts across the South East and Home Counties. You will be conducting the full range of asbestos surveys and discussing findings directly with clients, answering any queries and providing recommendations. You will be covering client sites across: Luton, Harpenden, St Albans, Welwyn Garden City, Potters Bar, Watford, Leighton Buzzard, Houghton Regis, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Stoke Mandeville, Aylesbury, Buckingham, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Bicester, Banbury, Brackley, Biggleswade, Letchworth Garden City, Hitchin, Royston, St Neots, Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Harlow, Epping, Cheshunt, Enfield, Chigwell, Borehamwood, Harrow, Wembley. Experience / Qualifications: - You will have a successful record working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally for a UKAS accredited firm - Will be qualified with the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent - Confident knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines - Writing detailed survey reports - Travelling as per company requirements - Strong IT and written skills The Role: - Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial, construction and local authority client sites - Collecting ACM samples from sites and safely storing and transporting to the laboratory - Meeting with clients on site to discuss requirements - Producing thorough survey reports to advice clients on found risks and recommendations - Wearing correct PPE to sites - Working to agreed deadlines - Upholding the company's reputation and maintaining strong client relationships Alternative job titles: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, Asbestos Consultant, Asbestos Site Analyst, Asbestos Analyst, Environmental Consultant.
