Project Manager - PV

Freelance Project Manager – 180MW Solar PV We are looking for a Freelance Project Manager to support the Head of Construction on a 180MW solar project in Spain . This role involves managing multiple sites within a 5km radius , working with challenging EPC contractors , and driving project execution. Location: Madrid (Hybrid) / Palencia (On-site 3 days per week) Contract: 12 months (Potential for extension or permanency) Rate: Competitive day rate Key Responsibilities: Oversee construction of solar PV, substation, and interconnection . Manage EPC contractors and project finance elements. Ensure compliance with Spanish regulations and standards . Requirements: 10 years in project management for solar (20-30MW), substations, and interconnections . Proven experience executing projects in Spain and handling EPC contractors . Fluent in Spanish (English a plus). Able to be on-site in (in Madrid and 2 hours North) 3 days per week .
