BIM Specialist MEP

RINA is currently recruiting for a BIM Specialist MEP to join its office in Lecce, Genova or Napoli, Italy within the Civil Engineering Division. Mission The role focuses on creating and managing detailed Building Information Models to enhance project visualization, collaboration, and efficiency under the supervision of BIM Senior Technician. The role collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure accurate representation of project elements and adherence to BIM standards. Qualifications Proficiency in BIM Software: Demonstrated expertise in using industry-standard BIM software such as Autodesk Revit. Ability to develop accurate and detailed 3D BIM models for infrastructure projects. Visualization and Analysis Skills: Experience in creating 3D visualizations and simulations to facilitate project communication, coordination, and analysis. Proficiency in generating 4D construction sequences to visualize project timelines and progress. Key Accountabilities BIM Model Development: Develop 3D BIM models using industry-standard software (e.g., Autodesk Revit) for infrastructure projects. Ensure that BIM models accurately represent project components, including buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, and other relevant elements. Visualization and Analysis: Generate 3D visualizations and simulations to aid in project communication, coordination, and analysis. Generate 4D construction sequences. Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and coordinate model development. Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination to ensure seamless integration of various design and construction elements within the BIM model. Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry BIM standards, protocols, and project-specific BIM execution plans. Regularly update models to reflect design changes and maintain consistency across all project documentation. Data Integration: Integrate relevant project data into the BIM model, including cost data, schedules, and other project management information. Work with project teams to enhance the BIM model's ability to serve as a comprehensive project information repository. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of BIM models. Identify and rectify discrepancies or issues in the BIM model to maintain data integrity. Training and Support: Foster a culture of BIM adoption and collaboration within the organization. Documentation: Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation related to BIM workflows, processes, and model updates. Contribute to the development of project-specific BIM documentation and guidelines. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements in BIM technology and methodologies. Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve BIM workflows and project outcomes. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Architecture.
