Role Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high performance, availability, and capacity planning Diagnose and resolve Hardware, software, and networking issues, supporting application deployments and upgrades Implement security best practices, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python) to optimize routine tasks and improve efficiency Create and maintain system documentation, generate reports on performance, uptime, and security incidents Collaborate with IT teams, mentor junior members, and support business objectives through effective teamwork Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience 3-5 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator/Engineer with expertise in Linux distributions (Red Hat preferred) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Virtualization technologies (VMware, Proxmox) Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman) and orchestration tools (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes) Proficiency in Shell scripting and at least one other programming language (e.g., Python, Perl), and knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible) Relevant certifications such as RHCE, LPIC, or CompTIA Linux are a plus Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career advancement A collaborative and supportive work environment Access to the latest technology and tools to support your role
