Job Description

Seniority: Medior/Senior Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months, renewable IT software asset management The IT Assets & Licenses Officer will play a key role in managing IT software assets, vendor relationships, purchasing operations, and compliance. The goal is to ensure full control over software and asset portfolios by gathering business needs, monitoring usage, optimizing costs, and ensuring contractual compliance. Key responsibilities IT purchasing & payments Support the ordering & payment process for IT purchases Conduct analysis, follow-ups, and reporting on purchase requests, orders, invoicing, and approvals Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies Identify process optimizations to improve efficiency for stakeholders IT license & asset management Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and licenses, aligning with budgets and strategy Collaborate with stakeholders to manage software asset needs and ensure compliance Conduct audits and usage analysis to optimize costs and forecast expenses Manage vendor relationships and evaluate market trends for strategic decision-making Support budget planning and financial management for IT licenses and assets Generate reports on asset status, compliance, and trends Ensure contract renewals, terminations, and overall license agreement compliance Monitor and enforce SLAs, KPIs, and vendor performance Mitigate risks related to shadow IT and unauthorized software use Qualifications & experience 10 years in IT asset and license management, with 5 years in a transversal advisory role Strong experience in negotiating and managing IT vendors Proven ability to manage IT budgets and align technology strategies with business goals Expertise in IT procurement, compliance, and risk mitigation Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree or certifications are a plus) Competencies Strategic Thinking - Ability to align IT assets with organizational goals Leadership - Proven ability to drive change and optimize processes Negotiation - Strong experience in contract management and vendor relations Analytical Skills - Data-driven approach to cost optimization and compliance Communication - Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
