Job Title: Materials & Supply Planning Analyst – (CoPacker & 3rd Party Manufacturing Costs & Performance) – Retail / Food / Beverage / Cosmetics / CPG (Selection & Performance Management of Copacker 3rd party Manufacturing -Operational Costs, KPIs ) Advanced Excel, Power BI Salary: 80K-95K, benefits, vacation, Location: Mississauga – Brampton, ON area Hybrid: Min 3 days a week in office Full Time Permanent Our client is a well-established organisation in the Retail / Beverage / CPG sector and have a job open for Materials & Supply Analyst to analyse and evaluate the performance of their co-packers, 3rd party contract manufacturing suppliers. This is a full-time permanent role, with full responsibility of daily tactical materials, supply planning PO processing, raw material inventory but with more focused on the co packer vendor performance, analysing their costs, capital costs, consumables to bring in efficiencies like consolidate co-packers manufacturing suppliers, freight costs and similar. This is a Continuous Improvement role for someone who has very strong analytical skillset in MS Excel, Power BI, SQL and similar. This is based in west GTA – west Etobicoke- Mississauga – Brampton – Burlington -Hamilton , ON area and will require minimum 3 days a week from office. Materials & Supply Analyst is fully responsible for analysing historical data on spends on various co packers, Supply planning and manufacturer suppliers spends, fixed costs, consumable costs, analyse trends to bring in process improvement by making suggestions on consolidating manufacturer suppliers copackers and contract manufacturer, improve lead times, reduce freight costs and similar. You will work directly with suppliers and vendors on daily tasks of supply planning be the point of contact for all 3rd party manufacturing, select and manage their performance of finished goods purchased You will analyse existing data and use MS Excel and other analytical tools to find opportunities to improve operating costs, spends and similar. This is an operational Continuous Improvement role, analyse data, conduct Root Cause Analysis, implement corrective actions, write revise SOPs around 3rd party manufacturing, fixed and capital cost model consumable costs, warranty, claims and similar. Materials & Supply Analyst will have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in Supply Planning, Material Planning, Copacker supplier performance, 3rd party contract manufacturing and similar with ADVANCED Excel ( NO EXCEPTIONs). Previous experience of data mining large files on claims, material spends, contact manufacturing costs, copacker claims and similar. Strong experience in tactical daily Supply Chain / inventory, material planning. Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting or similar are highly preferred. Certifications/ advanced diploma in materials management or similar preferred. Power BI is ideal. Excellent English communication skills are a MUST, ability to work directly with 3rd party suppliers, supply teams, warehousing , Finance analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset is a MUST. You must enjoy data analytics to be successful in this role.
