Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Inside Sales Associate to join our Client & Product Solutions team. As an Inside Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities and supporting the advisor sales team. Reporting directly to the Director of Retail Distribution, you will engage in proactive outreach, develop strategic sales campaigns, and secure future meetings to expand client relationships. Your role involves delivering exceptional service and product support while understanding client needs to enhance partnerships. The duties and responsibilities of the Inside Sales Associate include but are not limited to: New Business Development: Proactively makes sales and business development calls to generate new opportunities. Develops strategies to meet weekly sales targets. Plans, executes, and evaluates sales campaigns by territory and dealer. Engages advisors, secures meetings, and provides timely updates. Service & Product Support : Provides high-quality service and product support, including portfolio reviews and fund materials. Identifies client needs and offers tailored solutions to strengthen partnerships. Creates prospecting emails, fund comparisons, and customized communications. Reporting & Client Relationship Management: Records daily activities, updates advisor profiles, and manages Salesforce (CRM) data. Collaborates with the team to develop business plans and track leads and opportunities. Prioritizes high-value opportunities to optimize team resources. Critical Competencies Sales Strategy – Practices a consultative approach to sales along with strong business development skills to build rapport and establish credibility with clients. Technical knowledge – Confidently demonstrates knowledge of Wealth Management products and an understanding of global financial markets. Persistence & Motivation – Highly motivated self-starter with an innovative approach to prospecting and growing the advisor distribution base using RPIA investment solutions. Adaptability – Be able to effectively calibrate priorities and change approach and focus quickly and confidently whenever the environment or situation requires it. Operational Excellence – Understands the critical importance of accuracy while remaining optimistic and focused on driving results. Communication – Communicates clearly and eloquently both verbally and in writing and displays exceptional interpersonal skills when working with clients as well as team members. Accountability – Embraces challenges and responsibility and takes pride in the support and work provided. Teamwork – A reliable collaborator who values the benefits of a team-first attitude and is willing to pitch in however and wherever possible. Requirements Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of sales experience in the financial services, investment, or related industry, ideally with knowledge of advisor practice management; Completion or progress towards industry-related courses such as CSC, IFIC, or CFP is preferred; Proven experience with organizing, prioritizing, and executing individual and team sales plans and activities; Experience working with a CRM system.
