Job Description

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will support the estimating team to perform a variety of Estimating Functions to support the day-to-day operations Primary Scope of Role: Taking Quantity Take-offs Contacting Suppliers & Sub-Trades for Pricing Working within In Eight Estimate Estimating System Tracking Quantity & Production Assisting the Estimators & Managers on project management In Field Quantity Measurements. Position Requirements: Completed Civil Engineering or College Graduate (Civil Engineering Technician/Technology Program). Strong communication skills: reading, writing and oral skills in English. Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents. Strong knowledge and use of computer software (MS Office programs) Prior co-op and/or practical experience in a heavy civil construction environment is an asset. A valid driver’s license. Results-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment. Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives. Superb communication and interpersonal skills Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
