Requirements Engineer

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for Requirements Engineers and Managers on either a long-term contract or permanent basis. The role offers flexible, hybrid working between home and either Warrington, Newbury or Bristol competitive rates/packages & benefits and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across nuclear and defence. The role requires a professional in the Systems discipline of the Engineering department. You'll be expected to provide Requirements and V&V (Verification & Validation) so experience in this is key. Role Requirements: Leading requirements activities within their area of the programme / project. Working with EMs, design team, deriving / managing system and sub-system requirements. Managing traceability activities and documentation. Leading V&V, Test and Acceptance activities. Willingness to solve complex problems by taking initiative.Essential Experience Experience within systems engineering. In depth knowledge and experience of systems engineering in order to solve complex problems with minimal guidance. Background of working in a regulated industry.Qualifications: You must be degree / HNC qualified or equivalent / similar.
