Commercial Manager - B-Corp Healthy Food Brand - Grocery Greater London £50,000 - £60,000 Up to 20% bonus Vitality Healthcare Pension Plan 28 days holiday 3 days hybrid working Background This B-Corp food brand has been pushing the boundaries of the chilled category for over 6 years and is now looking for an ambitious Commercial Manager to support the business’s continued road to success specifically within the grocery channel. On a phenomenal growth path, this year alone, they have doubled their revenue with no signs of slowing down. Through NPD, increased distribution, and launching into new categories, this is the time to jump straight in. Opportunity As a Commercial Manager, this is a pivotal role as you will be a key member of the sales team and working directly with the Head of Sales on growing existing accounts. This role will give you AMAZING exposure to clients across multiple channels, sales negotiations, and key stakeholders, so if you are sales and career driven, this really is the role for you. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and expansion of the Grocery channel, including Asda, Morrisons, Coop, & Ocado, you will also have full account responsibility of some key retailers within the Convenience and Wholesale channel. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to work for a business that shows no signs of stopping. The aim is for the successful candidate to take control of all UK grocery within the next 18 months Key focus areas of the role itself and where you will spend most of your time: Agreeing & Negotiating JBPS for designated accounts. Category and sales reporting and analysis. Managing and agreeing to all the promotional activity within your account portfolio. Accountability of spend in the budget across all elements of the mix ie, promotions, fixed investment, online, and trade marketing spends. Building strong customer relationships across the accounts, including buying, supply chain, and finance at all relevant levels. Focus on gaining new incremental business to grow the account base. Hunting for new business opportunities. You To help this business achieve its growth plans, they are looking for an enthusiastic, commercial, passionate, highly organised, and talented individual to join the team. We want to hear from you if you have the following: FMCG Sales experience, ideally within the food sector (though is not essential). Analytical & Commercial acumen. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to build and develop great relationships, both internally and externally. Able to prioritise quickly in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. Previous experience within the Grocery, Convenience, and/or Wholesale Sectors is ideal. Some knowledge of category data, sources, cutting data, evaluating, and putting forward a sales proposition. Hands-on approach and a real go-getter.
