Senior Accountant Miejsce pracy: Wrocław Your responsibilities Overseeing and managing the monthly financial settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Handling all payroll and HR-related financial tasks, including processing salaries, managing employee benefits, and ensuring timely tax submissions. Preparing and submitting VAT declarations in accordance with legal requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in tax reporting. Issuing, verifying, and reviewing accounting documents to maintain compliance and prevent discrepancies in financial records. Registering supplier invoices, ensuring proper documentation, and verifying payments to maintain strong supplier relationships. Monitoring outstanding receivables, ensuring prompt payments from clients, and overseeing the effective management of credit control procedures in collaboration with the Credit Control department. Performing regular bank reconciliations, tracking financial transactions, and resolving any discrepancies to maintain financial integrity. Collaborating with the UK finance department to ensure alignment of financial strategies, policies, and reporting standards. Preparing comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in collaboration with the Financial Planning & Reporting department, providing insights into company performance and financial health. Compiling detailed financial statements in compliance with national and international accounting regulations, ensuring transparency and accuracy. Maintaining proactive communication with customers and company suppliers to monitor outstanding balances, reconcile accounts, and address any financial discrepancies to ensure smooth financial transactions. Consulting and implementing tax strategies in cooperation with legal and tax advisors, overseeing collaboration with these entities to ensure compliance and optimize financial planning. Our requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in an independent accounting role. Strong knowledge of VAT regulations, tax laws, and financial compliance requirements. Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Higher education in finance, accounting, or a related field. Hands-on experience with accounting software and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail to ensure precision in financial operations. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple financial tasks and deadlines efficiently. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English at a C1 level (both written and spoken) to facilitate effective communication with the UK finance team and international partners. Willingness to travel internationally for business visits to the headquarters or regional offices. Communicate effectively (active listening, questioning, expressing self clearly and concisely).
