VAT Accountant

VAT Accountant Miejsce pracy: Rokitki (pow. tczewski) Your responsibilities The VAT Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial processes, including VAT management, payroll posting, and maintaining financial records for our overseas branches. This position involves detailed expense accounting, accurate transaction settlements, and comprehensive financial reporting. Additionally, the Accountant will actively participate in financial projects, such as electronic invoicing and future CIT SAF-T implementations, ensuring compliance and efficiency. What You Will Do •VAT Management: Complete necessary VAT documents, reconcile VAT accounts, manage the re-posting of VAT entries, handle SAF-T submissions, and prepare VAT declarations •Payroll Accounting: Oversee payroll posting and reconcile payroll accounts •Financial Posting: Post P&L and balance sheet entries for overseas branches, and manage intercompany transactions •Expense Accounting: Settle employee expense transactions, including processing Concur reports and mileage allowances •Reporting: Prepare annual GM global budget files, maintain and update monthly GM and Consol reports, generate global sales reports, and compile monthly AR reports •Project Involvement: Participate in CFIN projects, implement electronic invoicing systems, and contribute to other financial initiatives Our requirements Proven experience in VAT management, accounting, and/or financial reporting Familiarity with accounting practices Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in managing expense accounting and transaction settlements Ability to handle multiple reporting tasks and consistently meet deadlines Experience with CFIN projects and electronic invoicing systems is a plus A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Language proficiency in Polish and English What we offer At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
