Infrastructure Architect - New Delhi As an Infrastructure Architect specializing in the airport domain, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure solutions. Leveraging your 12 years of experience, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our airport systems and technologies meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and security, providing technical leadership, and ensuring the alignment of infrastructure strategies with overall business goals. Key Responsibilities : 1. Infrastructure Design, Planning and Automation: - Develop comprehensive infrastructure designs based on business requirements, industry best practices, and emerging technologies. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current and future business needs and translate them into technical solutions. - Implement and promote the use of automation tools and practices to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and maintenance tasks. 2. Technology Evaluation and Selection : - Stay abreast of technological advancements and assess their applicability to the organization's infrastructure landscape. - Conduct evaluations of hardware, software, and cloud services to make informed recommendations for adoption. 3. Architecture Documentation : - Create and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure architectures, including diagrams, specifications, and configuration details. - Ensure that architecture documentation aligns with organizational standards and is kept up to date. 4. Security and Compliance: - Implement and enforce security best practices in infrastructure design and configuration. - Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies. 5. Capacity Planning and Performance Optimization: - Conduct capacity planning to ensure that infrastructure resources meet current and future demands. - Identify and implement performance optimization strategies for existing infrastructure components. - Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the infrastructure through optimization and tuning. 6. Collaboration and Leadership : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and development teams, to achieve common goals. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. 7. Vendor Management : - Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure the organization is leveraging the best solutions. - Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to optimize cost and service levels. 8. Project and Budget Management : - Lead infrastructure-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. - Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to define project scope and objectives. - Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure projects, ensuring cost- effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals. 9. Problem Resolution: - Act as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure issues. - Implement preventive measures to minimize downtime and disruptions. 10. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: - Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption in the event of system failures or disasters. - Conduct regular testing and simulations to ensure the effectiveness of disaster recovery procedures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and enhance business continuity. Qualification : Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Extensive experience (12 years) in designing and implementing complex enterprise-level infrastructure architecture and solutions, with a focus on the airport domain. Strong expertise in cloud technologies, virtualization, networking, and storage solutions. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Design Professional) are a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
