Job Description
Position: Communications & Engagement Lead Location: Saskatoon, SK Schedule: M-F, Professional Working Day Contract: 12 months Introduction We are seeking a Communication & Engagement Lead to support the successful delivery of the project by ensuring clear, consistent, and effective communication across all stakeholder groups. Working under the guidance of the Change & Embedment Lead, this role will play a key part in driving awareness, engagement, and adoption. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate communications, change management support, and enterprise technology implementations. Key Responsibilities: Communication Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan aligned with the project roadmap. Establish communication governance, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational goals. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams, business leaders, and end-users, translating complex concepts into clear, accessible language. Conduct stakeholder analysis to understand concerns, expectations, and information needs. Organize information sessions, town halls, Q&A sessions, and leadership briefings. Content Development & Execution : Create engaging and informative communication materials, including emails, newsletters, FAQs, presentations, and intranet updates. Manage internal communication channels (email, SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, etc.) to disseminate project-related updates. Support Change & Embedment lead in developing executive messaging and supporting leadership in delivering project-related communications. Monitoring & Feedback: Track communication effectiveness through feedback surveys, engagement metrics, and stakeholder input. Identify and report risks related to communication gaps and recommend corrective actions. Continuously refine communication efforts based on feedback, ensuring alignment with change adoption strategies. Requirements Must-Have: Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Change Management, or a related field. 5 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably in IT or enterprise transformation projects. Experience with SAP implementation or ERP integration projects. Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex information. Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills. Proficiency in tools like Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint) Preferred: Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) or relevant experience in organizational change communication. Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies. Graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe), and video editing tools for digital communication. What We Offer Why work with Brunel?
