About the Role On behalf of our client in the Banking industry , Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Specialty Developer ready to take on new challenges. Your Responsibilities As a Specialty Developer, you will be responsible for: Work with Fraud Reporting Engineering team and build Reports using Angular and AG-Grid with backend Java/Springboot based APIs, with SQL. Develop and implement application enhancements and/or repairs, particularly building new and enhancing existing reports UI and API. Analyze existing applications and assist in planning and design for cloud migration. Consult, when required on all aspects of research, analysis, design, and development of technical solutions including work effort and cost estimation. Provide technical input/resolution for assessment of live problems as required. Produce and/or assist with the production of various SDLC/PMLC/Agile deliverables and other documents and artifacts as required. Your Qualifications Must Have: AngularJS / Javascript – 6 years. SpringBoot Rest Api’s – 3-4 years. SQL - 4 years. CICD pipeline (working knowledge) – 3 years. Jira and confluence – 3 years. Agile experience – 3 years. Banking working Experience. Nice to have: AGGrid. Azure Cloud experience. Reporting Web applications experience. Personal Qualities: Analytical and solution-oriented mindset. Team collaboration and teamwork skills.
