Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Fleet Safety the Fleet Safety Administrator will support the Fleet Safety Team by providing clerical and document support functions. Primary Scope of Role: Intake and upload of drivers abstracts and drivers’ licences to GIP safety management system (Flex). Keep the Fleet Drivers Licence Matrix up to date with additions and deletions. Maintain the Fleet Safety Training Matrix and providing weekly stats on outstanding training needs. Review drivers’ profiles on Flex to ensure drivers licence information is up to date. Upload training records, driver evaluations and pre-trip evaluations to Flex. Download ELD violations and unidentified driver reports from Geotab GPS and provide to Fleet Safety Advisors for follow up. ELD user profile creation on Geotab GPS system. Answer phone calls and review emails from the general public regarding various matters and dispatch the appropriate Fleet Safety Advisor for investigation. Specific Duties : Monitor Fleet Safety & CVOR email inboxes and advise Fleet Safety Advisors when action is required. Administer minor changes in the Geotab GPS database. Conduct high level Incident Report reviews to ensure required information is present. Administer GIP’s Broker Pre-Qualification system. Carry out reconciliation for Fleet Safety monthly credit card statements. Building schedules for Driver Trainers throughout the Province and tracking completion. Input, track and follow up to ensure fleet infractions received by mail are paid for by employees and incident reports completed. Compiling various data into reports and charts Position Requirements: Minimum Grade 12 Education. Bilingual (Basic French Oral and Advanced English Oral & Written) would be an asset. Clean Drivers Abstract with no demerit points. Minimum Class G2 License. Advanced Excel skills, including using formulas and creating graphs and charts. Demonstrates a strong aptitude for learning and problem solving. Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities. Ability to work with minimal supervision and ability to seek clarification when unsure. Results-driven with a focus to deliver success in a fast-paced environment. Outcome-focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
