About the Opportunity As an Electrical Team Lead , you’ll contribute to high-profile projects, from conceptual design through completion while managing a team of talented Electrical Designers and Revit/CAD Drafters. You’ll work on commercial, retail, and institutional buildings , applying your expertise in electrical systems while fostering client relationships and guiding a talented team of designers. Collaborative, employee-owned environment Diverse, high-impact projects Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Support for continuing education and certifications A commitment to technical excellence and innovation Your Responsibilities Design electrical systems for commercial buildings, including high/medium/low voltage distribution, lighting, dimming controls, emergency power, grounding, and fire alarm systems, while conducting Detailed Design review of your team’s work. Represent the Electrical Engineering Group at design coordination meetings. Conduct construction phase reviews, progress draw assessments and prepare change notices. Coordinate with other disciplines (Architectural, Mechanical, Structural, Communication). Ensure project timelines, budgets, and technical quality standards are met. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Manage a team of Electrical Drafters and Designers. Mentor and train junior engineers. Your Qualifications University degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems design for ICI buildings. Expertise in LEED-certified, multi-disciplinary projects is a strong asset. P.Eng designation preferred (or close to designation). Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation). Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
