Head of Field Service, Compression Miejsce pracy: Łódź Your responsibilities Spearhead the field service organization for compression, overseeing a competence center of engineers and technicians dedicated to customer service excellence and technical support. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize field service operations, ensure alignment with overall business compression field service objectives and embrace new business opportunities. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a key liaison between the organization and customers (internal/external). Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring timely responses to service requests and effective resolution of issues. Lead and inspire a high-performing field service team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and customer-centric culture. Manage resource allocation, staffing, and training to enhance team capabilities and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, logistics, human resources, administration to ensure seamless communication and coordination in delivering comprehensive customer solutions Ensure and guard full compliance with respective rules and regulations in team management and development as well as in service delivery Implement quality standards in field service operations, conducting regular audits and assessments to maintain high-quality service delivery and continuously implement improvements to achieve increasing effectiveness Our requirements Proven experience of more than 5 years in an independent leadership role in field service operations, preferably in leading a team within a center of competence in an international, matrix organization (engineering industries will be an advantage). Excellent mature leadership and social skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team as well as handle challenges in people management. Ability to keep service delivery and team on a right track by taking accountable decisions. Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Strategic thinker with the ability to align field service operations with organizational goals. Experience in collaboration with different partners on each level of organization structure and ability to handle relations with challenging partners Fluent in English, C1 level. Proven track record in optimizing processes and driving operational efficiency . Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (short trips – around 10% annually). General knowledge of compression systems and or rotating equipment.
