Position Overview We are seeking a BIM Manager – Electrical to lead and enhance our client’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with extensive experience in electrical systems modeling and a deep understanding of industry best practices. The BIM Manager will be responsible for developing standards, overseeing a team of BIM Technicians, and driving innovation in project execution . Key Responsibilities: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices for electrical systems. Manage and mentor a team of Revit and AutoCAD Technicians , ensuring accuracy and consistency across projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate electrical models into overall building designs. Oversee BIM coordination and clash detection , resolving conflicts between electrical and other building systems. Develop automation tools and scripts to improve modeling efficiency and optimize project workflows. Provide training and technical support to BIM team members, fostering continuous professional development. Stay up to date with the latest BIM technologies and advancements, recommending innovative solutions to improve project delivery. Qualifications & Skills Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Technology , or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on electrical building systems . Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks . Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles , including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems. Experience with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination . Leadership experience in managing and mentoring a team of BIM professionals.
