About the Role On behalf of our client in the Banking industry , Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Project Manager ready to take on new challenges. Your Responsibilities As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for: Responsible for the documentation of all business owned artifacts that are required for projects and major initiatives as defined by the bank's Project Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC) methodology. Responsible for business process documentation for all business applications owned/managed. Responsible for day-to-day operations process management to ensure consistency, and delivery according to established SLA. Responsible for all Business Acceptance Test (BAT) documentation that is required for all projects and major initiatives as defined by the bank's project delivery methodology. Responsible for the execution of all BAT testing for projects and/or release maintenances. Responsible for working with Technology to establish a partnership and ensure all business requirements and Data Governance requirements. Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Provide feedback and thoughts on possible solutions to issues/risks arising throughout the life cycle of a project, including adherence to enterprise application / data lifecycle practices. Identify and escalate risks that could impact project timelines or the quality of the deliverables to project manager and business owner, provide options and recommendation. Support and/or implement solutions that mitigate risk and maximizes the availability of service, efficiency and effectiveness. Integrates the broader organizational context into advice and solutions. Leads projects of moderately to complex risks and resource requirements; may lead end –to-end processes of functional programs. Works independently as the senior lead and guides other within area of expertise. Your Qualifications Key Skills: Expert knowledge of WD application including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rules. Expert analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to solve complex problems requiring analysis to solve complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, including consultation with multiple stakeholder. Expert level professional role requiring in-depth knowledge / expertise in own domain / field of specialty and working knowledge of broader related areas. Workday configuration experience. Participate in complex applications and systems development. Requirement elicitation experience. impart your subject matter expertise. Give solution options. bolster stakeholder support. Ability to review technical deliverables for quality throughout detailed design and development phase, identify gaps or redesign as needed.
