Full Stack Engineer - Java/AngularJS

About the Role : We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full Stack Engineer for a contract position at our client's location in Bengaluru. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining web applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end development. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment. A strong understanding of CSS and a passion for creating seamless user experiences are essential. Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications. - Design and implement user-friendly interfaces with a focus on user experience. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality. - Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring optimal application performance. - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. - Implement and maintain APIs and integrations with other systems. - Deploy and monitor applications in production environments. - Work closely with the team to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet those needs. - Contribute to the development of test plans and execute tests to ensure software quality. Required Skills and Qualifications : Experience : - 3-5 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer. Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Technical Skills : Front-End Development : - Proficiency in HTML, CSS (including preprocessors like Sass or Less), JavaScript (including modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js), and responsive design principles. - Experience with UI libraries and frameworks is a plus. - Back-End Development: Strong understanding of server-side languages (e.g , Java, Python, Node. js, C#), frameworks (e.g , Spring, Django, Express.js, .NET), databases (e.g , SQL, NoSQL), and API development (RESTful APIs). Software Development : - Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. - Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred. Full-Stack Development : - Demonstrated ability to work on both front-end and back-end components of web applications. CSS : - Expertise in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Version Control: Proficiency with Git or other version control systems. Testing: Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing. Soft Skills : - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Strong work ethic and a proactive approach. - Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Bonus Points : - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g , AWS, Azure, GCP). - Knowledge of DevOps practices. - Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g , Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience in the financial services industry (ref:hirist.tech)
