As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role offers hybrid working, providing flexibility while ensuring strong collaboration with clients and project teams. The Role We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in delivering 'Food Retail' projects. You will be responsible for managing project costs from inception to completion, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards. If you come from a similar background to 'Food Retail' this will also be considered for the position. Key Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for food retail construction projects. Manage project finances, including cost forecasting, valuations, and financial reporting. Assess contractor and supplier quotations, ensuring best value and compliance with project specifications. Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure cost efficiency. Managing/mentoring junior colleagues if required. Key Skills & Experience ✔ Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction. ✔ Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration. ✔ Proven experience with JCT and NEC contracts. ✔ Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. ✔ Strong negotiation and communication abilities. ✔ Achieved RICS status (desirable) ✔ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid working environment.
