If you have a passion for helping young learners thrive and want to be part of a nurturing school environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers and students, providing essential classroom support, assisting with learning activities, and helping to create a positive and engaging educational experience for primary-aged children. Key Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant (TA): Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons. Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support. Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive learning environment. Help with lesson preparation, resources, and activities. Encourage and support students' social, emotional, and academic development. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers. Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued. Requirements of Teaching Assistant (TA): Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant. A passion for education and supporting young learners. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to learning. Relevant qualifications or certifications. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
