GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and motivated Primary School Teacher to provide daily supply cover in and around Scunthorpe. If you enjoy variety, flexibility, and making a difference in different classroom settings, this role is perfect for you As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will step into various primary schools to deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and support students’ education on an ad-hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety in their work while gaining experience in different school settings. Key Responsibilities of Primary School Teacher: Deliver engaging and structured lessons across different year groups in primary schools. Adapt quickly to new classroom environments and follow pre-set lesson plans. Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. Maintain classroom management and a positive learning atmosphere. Support students’ learning and well-being, providing encouragement and assistance where needed. Build strong relationships with school staff and students, fostering a welcoming and engaging classroom environment. Requirements of Primary School Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1, or KS2. Strong classroom management and adaptability. Passion for teaching and supporting young learners. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Flexibility and reliability for ad-hoc, daily supply work. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
