We have a permanent job opportunity available for an Accounts Manager, offering a salary up to £40,000, depending on your experience. Benefits include holiday, pension, free on-site car parking, and regular team building treats/events. Their office is based in Gravesend, and their site is currently being refurbished, during the refurbishment you will be based in a lovely serviced office in Maidstone until April, both offices have free on-site car parking. You will be working within an office with five other people, and they are looking for a friendly and approachable team player, to fit into their great team. You will be solely responsible for the accounts function of the business, working closely with their accountant. This is a superb opportunity to make the role your own. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am until 5 pm and unfortunately, they cannot offer part-time, hybrid, or remote working. As the Accounts Manager your duties will include… Using Sage accounting software. Recording and reconciling all incoming and outgoing financial transactions received. Issuing invoices and receipts to clients for money received. Resolving outstanding payments and sending statements. Ensuring that financial records meet with company standards. Compiling financial reports. Maintaining accurate and detailed customer records and creating new customer accounts. Building a good rapport with clients and providing an accounting team with relevant information. Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties. To be considered for this opportunity you will need… Experience including the duties above. Sold accounts experience, ideally around 10-15 years. Confidence to manage the accounts function of the business. Your own transport, due to the office locations. Advanced Sage knowledge is essential. Knowledge of CIS (the Construction Industry Scheme tax framework) would be beneficial, but this is not essential.
