Mechanical Supervisor

Job Title: Mechanical Site Supervisor / Mechanical Site Manager / Mechanical Foreman / Mechancial Manager Location: Stevenage Duration: 8 months Hours: 7:30am - 4:40pm About the company: A mechanical and electrical engineering contractor, offering full design and installation services on projects up to £7m. They work across various sectors, including commercial, education and healthcare with established relationships offering repeat business. Job Description: Mechanical Site Supervisor to oversee the Mechanical installation on a £6.5m shell and core laboratory building based in Stevenage. Reporting to the Project Manager. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the Mechanical installation work on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality of work. Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any changes to the project scope. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and industry best practices. Provide guidance and support to the electrical team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Requirements: CSCS / SMSTS Proven experience working as an Mechanical Site Supervisor on commercial, industrial or life science projects. Strong knowledge of Mechanical systems, installation practices, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications and qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field. This is a contract role until October
