Boilermaker/Fitter

Key Responsibilities: Â Welding & Fabrication: Utilize CO2 and ARC welding techniques to repair and maintain machinery, equipment, and components critical to the manufacturing process. Mechanical Maintenance: Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair mechanical systems, including building, shaping, and fixing dies. Assembly & Installation: Assist in the installation and assembly of machinery, metal structures, and other essential equipment. Preventative Care: Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and prevent downtime. Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry regulations while working in a high-demand manufacturing environment. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to minimize equipment downtime and enhance performance. Technical Expertise: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure work is completed to design specifications. Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized work area to support a safe and productive environment. Required Qualifications: Â Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Boilermaker/Fitter, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CO2 and ARC welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machinery maintenance, repair, and installation. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Solid understanding of safety practices in industrial environments. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in the brick or construction materials industry is highly advantageous. Certification in welding or other relevant technical qualifications is a plus.
