Blue Yonder Technical Consultant What will you do: Develop integrations and extensions within the IT/WMS policies of Rhenus (e.g. change policy and BY Core). These include support of implementation project teams with development opportunities, feedback and review of design specifications and “first time right” delivery of solutions With support from architects or senior team members, gather requirements for technical architecture and assist with installation, setup, patching/upgrades, configuration activities and development Continuous improvements of developed solutions based on design reviews and problem management (“feedbacks from the field”) Analyze and resolve reported technical incidents and initiate actions to prevent re-occurrence (problem management) Develop solutions/extensions/modules/components based on solution design including delivery of technical documentation provide technical support during the "go-live" period of a project Contribute to the development of Rhenus BY WMS Core by modularization and generalization (re-usability, parameterization). Develop and maintain the development framework for BY WMS Core and the “downstream” operational installations, for version management, deployments (“product architecture”) and certification Define, demand and maintain requirements for the hosting infrastructure of BY WMS both in Rhenus data centers as well as cloud providers (IAAS). Monitor the BY WMS applications and implement patches and hygiene measures Drive technical innovations such as automated deployment across the development street, automated testing and robotization Document solutions and ways-of-working Reporting and consultancy tasks on request of IT Management What you bring: Ideally a degree in the area of computer science, business information systems, logistics or similar specialist fields, or equivalent qualification 2 years of experience in implementing Blue Yonder (JDA/RedPrairie) WMS from a technical point of view 3 - 5 years of experience in technical IT (see technical skills) Technical skills: Understanding of Windows operating systems Script languages like Python, Perl, PowerShell Java/J2EE RESTful web services APIs (JSON/XML) Testing API endpoints with tools like Postman PLSQL, SQL and database understanding (structure and concepts) in general Microsoft SQL-Server (including performance analysis) Knowledge of interfaces between WMS and ERP/HOST, TMLS, WLM, In general system integrations skills like mapping data between customer and target system Excellent computer skills with in-depth knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, integration and middleware technology and applications Cloud experiences Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance Ability to lead and work effectively with large business and IT teams Ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the business and IT Enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivating Strong English skills Good French/Spanish/Polish/Dutch/German skills is a big plus Perks and benefits (available in Poland): Be a part of newely created global team within BY competence center Work in an international environment, with multinational teams Work from a well-located office in Warsaw Work in a hybrid model Using private medical care package co-financed by the company (Medicover) Advantage of group insurance for yourself and family members Using a Multisport card co-financed by the company Monthly salary plus bonus agreement based on performance
