As their retained recruitment partner, Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be supporting Union Technical again in the search for a passionate and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join their growing Health & Safety team and contribute to their mission of revolutionising energy-efficient home solutions. As Health & Safety Officer, you will be an integral part of the IMS team, working alongside the Head of Business Development, Health and Safety Manager & Sustainability Manager. You will work to prevent accidents, injuries and work related illness. You will ensure all risk assessments and method statements are in place for the required areas and that the organisations legal obligations are met. The Health and Safety Officer will work face to face with clients, visiting sites to carry out risk assessments & inspections. You will be a people person who is confident in liaising with external bodies such as supplies, customers and enforcement agencies. We are looking for the following: Proven experience in a health and safety role, ideally within the energy sector, construction or a similar industry. NEBOSH/IOSH Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification (desirable) Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and industry-specific regulations. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training programmes. Proficient in compiling risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) Experience of H&S inspections and incident/accident investigations.
