Calibration Technician

Calibration Technician required for a contract role in Peterborough You will be covering the calibration process for instrumentation in an OEM manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role using hand tools. A forklift licence is handy. Overview Operate a multitude of different off-highway vehicles including but not limited to, Hydraulic Excavators, Backhoe Loaders, Telehandlers, Track Type Tractors Managing a variety of data acquisition solutions . Supporting electrical integration of off-highway machines including hybrids and EVs. Implementation of traceable instrumentation solutions Maintaining hardware and processes within the value stream. Requirements NVQ Level 3 in electrical, instrumentation or mechanical Read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures. Work closely with others is imperative, requiring team participation to achieve the agreed objectives. A working knowledge of instrumentation and its application. Effective communication skills to liaise with various levels of the organisation. Fully flexible approach to the job role & responsibilities. Prepared to undertake required training/learning.
