Mechanical Project Manager (Laboratories)

Fawkes & Reece are looking for an Mechanical Project Manager with previous Lab experience, to work with a Tier 1 M&E Contractor on a Lab/Pharma scheme in Norfolk. This opportunity is open to freelance candidates, with this particular scheme due to last until early 2027. If successful, you will be contracted for the entire duration. Pay rates will range up to £450.00/day depending on seniority/experience. Responsibilities for this position Manage the preparation of project plans, risk assessments and health and safety documentation Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure effective project management Plan and monitor project resources, including labour, materials and equipment Organise and lead mechanical projects from concept to completion Manage budgets, resources and personnel to ensure projects are completed within time and budget constraintsRequirements for this position At least 3 years of experience working as a Mechanical Project Manager Managing project with M&E value of £20m from start to finish Previous experience working on Lab/Pharma/Clean Room projects Strong knowledge of all HVAC/mechanical systems Team player, ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues Excellent leadership and communication skills If yourself, or anyone you may know would be interested in this position - please apply via the link or send your latest CV to James Bennett at (url removed)
