Senior Quantity Surveyor We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established construction consultancy based in Southampton. The business has been established for 20 years and undertakes work across the commercial, further education, healthcare and motor-retail valuing up to £15mil. They will undertake typical construction consultancy services to clients and will also undertake projects on a construction management basis. About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within the commercial team, reporting to the Director on a number of projects on the South Coast. The majority of their workload is from repeat clients due to strong previous relationships, so maintaining these is a key element of the position. This will be a predominantly office based role with visits to site as and when required. Key responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: Pricing works from first principles Doing take-offs from drawings Managing costs Budget forecasting Key requirements as Senior Quantity Surveyor: Experience working as Senior Quantity Surveyor within a cost consultancy or main contractor Strong contractual understanding Having existing relationships will be extremely beneficial Be able to commute to Southampton on a daily basis and be happy to visit sites as and when required Have the full right to work in the UK.
