Job Description

Job Title Domestic Gas Engineer Our Client Our client is a well known heating contractor that provide installations, servicing and maintenance for gas and central heating systems within domestic and commercial markets, with work spanning across the UK. They turnover over £250m a year, maintain over 160,000 homes, and currently employ over 3000 members of staff. They currently require a Domestic Service and Breakdown Gas Engineer to join their expanding team around SK postcode area. Domestic Gas Engineer Description - Domestic Gas Service and Repair Engineers will cover Domestic central heating system service, maintenance and repair. - The Domestic Gas Breakdown Engineer will be required to cover a call out rota attending breakdowns - Carry out landlord safety certificates - Assisting more junior engineers with technical queries - Engineers are required to work within Domestic social housing sites across the SK post code area. Domestic Gas Engineer Requirements The successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout SK postcode area, hold a full UK driving licence and the following qualifications: - Domestic Gas Safe / ACS Domestic (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1) - NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating - Based within a commutable distance of the SK postcode area Domestic Gas Engineer Remuneration - Salary - £38,000 - £42,000 - Bonus system - Overtime and Call Out – 1 in 6 - Employee wellbeing programme - Company Vehicle (Private usage included) - 20 days holiday BH (Rising to 23 days after 1 year) - Full package to be discussed at interview
