Job Title: Junior Quality Control (Seasonal Position) About Our Client : As a leader in the fruit wholesale sector, our client is dedicated to sourcing top-quality produce while fostering sustainable practices and strong producer relationships. They are seeking a Junior Quality Control professional to assist during the busy citrus season in the Eastern Cape area - Patensie, Kirkwood, Katrivier, Addo farm locations. Position Overview: This seasonal role involves monitoring and ensuring the quality of citrus products in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is a young, motivated individual eager to gain experience in quality control and the agricultural sector. Key Responsibilities: Conduct quality inspections of citrus products in the warehouse. Provide timely feedback to the team on quality issues or discrepancies. Ensure compliance with quality standards and protocols. Maintain accurate records of quality checks and assessments. Collaborate with the team to address and resolve quality concerns. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant tertiary degree/diploma advantageous. Previous experience within the fruit industry, citrus experience beneficial. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Understanding of quality control principles Strong communication and teamwork skills. Location : Patensie, Kirkwood, Katrivier, Addo farm locations. Salary : R20 000 - per month, negotiable for the right candidate, depending on experience.
