Principal Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities: Manage the drafting team and workflow to meet project requirements. Create and update technical drawings, including initial designs, construction, and as-built drawings. Ensure all designs comply with industry regulations and project specifications. Coordinate with engineers and project managers for design adjustments. Prepare comprehensive Bills of Materials. Maintain quality control and ensure accurate record-keeping of all drawings. Train and guide junior draughtsmanand technicians. Manage and organizedigital drawing folders efficiently. Requirements: Relevant technical qualification (minimum N4 preferred). Advanced proficiency in TurboCAD/AutoCAD. Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and internet browsers. Drivers license and own transport (advantageous).
