Senior Engineer

Senior Engineer required for 10-12 months on MOD groundworks project in Lutterworth. Senior Engineer will be required to oversee the technical aspects of the project, which is a £10 Million new build MOD facilities site. Senior Engineer will preferably have laptop and CAD package, not essential. As the Senior Engineer you will support the construction, commercial & H&S teams through the management and communication of all technical aspects relating to the construction works undertaken by the business. Duties and Responsibilities; • Technical support for Site Engineers, including inspections and sign off • Ensure engineers are completing relevant Q/A checks & recording As Built Information in line with agreed engineering requirements • Arrange engineering meetings providing meeting agenda • Managing engineering workload, ensuring job allocation across each individual section Skills Required; • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (not essential) • Previous experience as a Site Engineer/Senior Site Engineer/Technical Manager • Experience of MOD projects or similar, in a controlled environment • Taking off and scheduling of materials • Good communication and management skills • Ability to organise workload effectively for the purpose of meeting deadlines • Ability to work autonomously and flexibly, responding to business needs • Team Player
